Any reschedules or late cancellations for any reason, including but not limited to illness, within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged a $25 fee. No shows (failing to attend an appointment without notifying the clinic prior to the scheduled start time of your appointment) will be billed at the full cost of your booked appointment. With repeated late cancels the fee will be increased to the full cost of the missed appointment. This charge cannot be billed to insurance providers and must be paid before booking your next visit. For illness or COVID related issues restricting in-person attendance you may switch to a virtual visit to continue your care and to avoid a fee.

Please note, on MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS between 9AM and 3PM our fuzziotherapy dog will be in the clinic at our Southside location. If you have any allergies, phobias or concerns please call the clinic.

Physiotherapy

Anisa is a graduate of the University of Alberta, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s in Physical Therapy. Her primary goal is to help patients understand their injury/condition and feel empowered on their path towards recovery, prevention and returning safely to the activities that are important to them.

Anisa draws on her personal experience as a former competitive athlete, her passion for helping others, and strong understanding of human movement and activity demands to provide personalized care that will help you reach your goals. When she is not at Summerside, Anisa provides treatment through the Pediatric Specialized Rehab Outpatient Program at the Glenrose Hospital where she has gained experience working with children with a variety of concerns including developmental/gross motor and neurological conditions.

Anisa has experience and loves working with all ages – infants, children, youth and adults.

She also loves using her creativity to make rehab fun and enjoyable for the kiddos!
